What we collect
When you request a valuation we collect your name, telephone number, email address and postcode, together with the vehicle details you provide: registration, mileage, specification, condition and finance status.
Why we collect it
To value your vehicle, to contact you about that valuation, and — if you accept — to arrange collection, payment and any finance settlement. We do not use it for anything else without asking you.
Lawful basis
We rely on your consent for marketing contact, and on legitimate interests and the performance of a contract for handling your valuation and any subsequent purchase.
How long we keep it
Valuation enquiries are retained for a limited period; completed purchases are retained for as long as required by law and for the resolution of any dispute.
Who we share it with
Where you sell a financed vehicle, we share what is necessary with your lender to settle the agreement. We do not sell your data.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and you can object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
